How does is it work?

Your first step is to fill out an inquiry form with as many details as possible. You can find the inquiry form through our Let’s Eat icon. After your inquiry is submitted, The Carolina Chef team will respond within 24 hours with availability, seasonal menus and pricing. Once your booking is confirmed and menus are selected, you can relax and look forward to an exceptional culinary experience. On the day(s) of your booking your personal chef will shop at local markets for the best local ingredients available before arriving at your home or rental to begin cooking. While your meal is being prepared Chef Sarah will keep your kitchen neat and organized while sharing her extensive food knowledge. You and your guests will be able to relax and enjoy a memorable experience start to finish.

Can you work with allergies?

Yes! Chef Sarah and the whole The Carolina Chef team are well versed in accommodating allergies across the board. While you are selecting menus Chef Sarah will work with you to choose menu options that fit your needs and provide creative alternatives when necessary. You are in great hands with The Carolina Chef team!

How far do you travel?

Our day to day services are in the greater Charleston area including: Folly Beach, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Kiawah Island, downtown Charleston, Mt. Pleasant and Edisto. We frequently cook in Hilton Head, Edisto, and Savannah. We offer travel chef services in addition to our local personal chef services that take us all over the country.

Personal chefs offer smaller, more intimate, events with a focus on providing an immersive dining experience. Caterers are equipped to offer services for large events, such as weddings. Most personal chefs arrive on site, straight from the market, and prepare your meal start to finish in your kitchen. Caterers often utilize offsite kitchens in which they prep for their events.
